Cheese sauce



  • milk - 1/3 c
  • cornstarch - 2 3
  • block Velveeta cheese - 1/3 c
  • water cold - 1/3 c

How to make cheese sauce:

Cube cheese and melt slowly over low heat in milk, stirring constantly. When mixture is completely melted, mix water and cornstarch. Pour into cheese mixture. Continue stirring until thickened. If needed, use more cornstarch with cold water to make thicker or milk to thin.

Great over cauliflower, broccoli or French-style green beans! Be sure to drain vegetables well before pouring sauce over them.
