Cheese potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 3 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- water - 2 c
- Velveeta cheese - 1 lb
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- parsley flakes - 2 Tbsp
- carrots - 1/2 c
- chicken bouillon cubes - 2 item
- celery - 1 c
- onions - 1/2 c
- ham cubes optional - 1 item
- red potatoes, chopped - 6 c
How to make cheese potato soup:
Cook vegetables in 2 cups of water with the 2 chicken bouillon cubes. Bring to a boil. Turn down to a simmer for about 30 minutes or until vegetables are soft. Mix 1/4 cup milk and 1/4 cup flour to make a paste. Pour paste in with the vegetables. Add 2 3/4 cups milk of milk and Velveeta cheese (ham cubes are optional).Recipe categories: Cheese, Soups & stews, Main dish.
