Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- 8 oz - 2 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
- 15 oz - 2 c
- 32 oz
- box manicotti shells - 1 oz
- box frozen spinach, cooked and drained - 1 oz
How to make cheese manicotti:
Cook manicotti to package directions. Cool in single layer on wax paper. Combine Parmesan cheese, 1 cup of Mozzarella cheese, spinach, salt and pepper. Spoon into manicotti shells. Spread single layer of spaghetti sauce on bottom of 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Arrange manicotti shells in pan in single layer. Cover with remaining sauce and Mozzarella cheese. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes, covered, with aluminum foil. Then remove foil and bake 15 minutes longer. Makes 6 to 8 servings.Recipe categories: Cheese, Pasta, Manicotti.
