Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- egg yolks - 4 item
- egg - 1 item
- margarine - 1/2 lb
- yeast - 1 pkg
- warm milk - 4 Tbsp
- Mix flour and salt and cut into cold margarine
How to make cheese filled coffee cake:
Mix yeast, milk and sugar and let stand until dissolved. Mix flour and salt and cut into cold margarine. Add egg yolks and yeast mixture; mix well.Filling:2 (8 oz.) cream cheese1 Tbsp. vanilla1 c. sugar1 egg Beat until smooth. Pat 1/2 of dough into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Spread filling over all. Roll and pat rest of dough to size of pan and place on top of filling. Let rise 2 or 3 hours. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
