Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- pkg - 2 oz
- egg, separated - 1 item
- crescent rolls - 2 pkg
How to make cheese danish:
Grease a 13 x 9-inch pan. Unroll dough from 1 package of rolls. Press into prepared pan. Press to eliminate holes. Soften cream cheese. Beat until creamy. Add sugar and egg yolk. Spread over dough in pan. Form another rectangle of dough from second package and place on top of cheese. Brush top with egg white. Sprinkle lightly with sugar. Bake in 350° oven 20 to 25 minutes or until light brown. When cool, cut into squares.Recipe categories: Desserts, < 60 mins, For large groups.
