Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crumbs
- sugar - 1/4 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- pkg - 1 3/4
- cold milk - 2 c
- softened cream cheese - 12 oz
- melted butter or margarine - 6 Tbsp
How to make cheese cake:
Combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup of sugar and melted margarine; press firmly on bottom and side of 8 or 9-inch pie pan. Chill.Beat cream cheese until very soft. Blend in 1/2 cup of milk. Add remaining milk, sugar, vanilla and pudding. Beat as directed on package for pie. Pour into shell. Chill until firm, at least 2 hours. Can top with a layer of canned fruit pie filling (cherry, blueberry) or fresh strawberries.
To serve, dip pan in warm water for a few seconds; cut and serve.
