Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crumbs
- sugar - 1/4 c
- melted butter - 1/2 c
- Add butter and mix well
- sour cream - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- soft cream cheese - 1 lb
- nuts - 1/4 c
How to make cheese cake:
Combine crumbs and sugar. Add butter and mix well. Press mixture in 9-inch spring-form pan (sides and bottom). Save a few crumbs for top of cake. Chill. When chilled, add 20 ounces of strained crushed pineapple.Filling:4 eggs, separated1/4 c. sugar1 c. sour cream1 tsp. vanilla3/4 c. sugar2 Tbsp. flour1/4 tsp. salt1 lb. soft cream cheese1/4 c. nuts Separate the eggs; beat whites until stiff with 1/4 cup of sugar; set aside. Beat egg yolks until thick. Add sour cream and vanilla. Beat in 3/4 cup of sugar, flour and salt. Stir in cream cheese; beat until smooth. Add nuts. Fold in egg whites. Spoon into pan. Sprinkle top with remaining crumbs. Bake until firm to touch, about 1 hour, at 325°. Cool and store in refrigerator.Recipe categories: Cheesecake, Desserts, < 60 mins.
