Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 5 oz
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- almond extract - 1 tsp
- cream - 1/4 c
- grated lemon peel - 1 tsp
How to make cheese cake:
Cream the cream cheese and sugar together. Add 1 egg at a time, then the cream. Blend well, then add vanilla and almond. Mix 3 tablespoons flour, salt and grated lemon peel; add to creamed mixture. Pour into graham cracker lined pan (spring-form). Bake in a 500° oven for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 200° and bake for 70 to 75 minutes. Test with silver knife; should come out fairly clean. Refrigerate. When cool, top with a can of pie filling or fresh fruit.Makes a large cheese cake, but looks beautiful.
