Cheese biscuits
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- paprika - 1 tsp
- sifted plain flour - 2 c
- grated extra sharp cheese - 1/2 lb
- 3/4 sticks margarine, softened - 1 item
How to make cheese biscuits:
Cream margarine and cheese. Add dry ingredients. Mix with hands (will be stiff). Roll in small ball. Press in nut half or press down with fork dipped in flour. Bake 20 or 25 minutes on ungreased tin at 350°. Makes about 5 dozen.Recipe categories: Breads, Rolls/biscuits, High calcium.
