Cheddar chowder
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 1 tsp
- medium onion, chopped - 1/2 item
- stalks celery, chopped - 3 item
- medium potatoes, peeled and cubed - 5 item
- medium carrots, chopped - 3 item
- mild Cheddar cheese - 1 lb
- ham, cubed - 1 c
How to make cheddar chowder:
Boil together carrots, celery, onion, potatoes and basil. Cook until almost done. In a separate, smaller pot, slowly cook milk, flour and cheese over medium heat until the cheese has melted and becomes sauce. Stir the cheese sauce into the vegetable mix. Add ham.
