Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt
- flour - 1/4 c
- boiling water - 2 c
- oleo - 1/4 c
- 8 oz - 2 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- sliced carrots - 1/2 c
- onion - 1/4 item
- celery - 1/2 c
- diced potatoes - 2 c
How to make cheddar chowder:
Add water to potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Do not drain. Make white sauce with oleo, flour and milk. Add cheese, stir until melted. Add undrained vegetables. Heat but do not boil.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chowders, Super bowl.
