- pkg - 1 lb
- milk - 1 c
- sour cream - 1 lb
- stick butter - 1 item
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- finely chopped onions - 1 c
- potato chips - 1 item
How to make cheddar cheese potato casserole:
Take shredded hash browns (thawed) and add sour cream, Cheddar cheese and the can of soup. Saute onions in the butter and add to potato mixture. Add milk and salt and pepper to taste.Place in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan or casserole dish. Crush potato chips and add to the top before placing in a 350° oven for 30 to 45 minutes.
