Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 2/3 c
- flour - 2 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- cayenne pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 c
How to make cheddar biscuits:
Preheat oven to 425°. Combine flour, sugar and pepper; cut butter into pieces and work into flour mixture until coarse and crumbly. Stir in cheese and milk, just until dough comes together. Turn onto floured surface; knead and pat down to a 1/2-inch thickness. Cut biscuits and bake on greased baking sheet for 12 to 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Breads, Rolls/biscuits.
