Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- chili powder - 2 Tbsp
- oregano - 1 tsp
- cloves garlic - 2 item
- cumin seed - 1 Tbsp
- can diced green chilies - 1 oz
- pinto beans - 1 lb
- boneless pork roast - 3 lb
- garnishes: shredded cheese, chopped onion, shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, sliced avocado and sour cream - 1 item
How to make chalupa:
Combine in large kettle. Cover with water; bring to boil. Cover and simmer about 6 hours. Break up meat and cook, uncovered, until thick, about 45 minutes.To serve, place a layer of corn chips on plate and top with meat mixture. Garnish with your choice.
