Ingredients/Components
- assorted pasta - 2 c
- hamburger - 1/2 lb
- sausage - 1/2 lb
- chopped onion - 1 c
- green pepper - 1/3 c
- mushrooms - 1/3 c
- small can pizza sauce - 1 item
- can tomatoes - 1 lb
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- pepperoni - 1 item
- Mozzarella cheese - 1 c
How to make cavatini:
Cook pasta. In skillet, brown meat and add onion. When nearly done, add mushrooms, green pepper and pepperoni. Cook until done. Drain fat. Add tomatoes and pizza sauce. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, add salt and simmer until slightly thickened. Combine with pasta and put in a casserole dish. Top with cheese.
