Cauliflower in cheese sauce
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- melted butter
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- prepared mustard - 1 tsp
- Cheddar cheese, shredded - 1 c
- Ritz cracker crumbs - 1 c
How to make cauliflower in cheese sauce:
Topping:2 Tbsp. melted butter1 c. Ritz cracker crumbs Warm 1 1/4 cups of the milk over low heat. The remaining milk, put in a shaker with the flour and pepper and shake. When milk is nearing boiling, add the flour mixture, stirring constantly. Add the mustard and cheese; stir until cheese is melted. Pour mixture into one-quart casserole.Topping: Add cracker crumbs to melted butter. Sprinkle over top of hot vegetables. Bake, uncovered, 15 minutes, until heated through.
