Ingredients/Components
- catfish - 3 lb
- potatoes medium - 3 item
- large onion - 1 item
- can stewed tomatoes - 1 oz
- large can tomato juice or V-8 - 1 item
- slices bacon - 4 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- red cayenne pepper or 1 tsp - 1 tsp
How to make catfish stew:
Cut up bacon and fry in bottom of large pot. Add onion. Cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer until potatoes are soft, 30 to 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Low Carb, Stew.
