Carrot salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vinegar - 3/4 c
- salad oil - 1/2 c
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- celery salt - 1/4 tsp
- large green pepper, sliced - 1 item
- large carrots, sliced - 2 item
- onion, sliced optional - 1 item
- Dressing:1 can tomato soup
How to make carrot salad:
Dressing:1 can tomato soup1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce1/2 c. salad oil1/4 tsp. celery salt3/4 c. vinegar1 c. sugar1 tsp. dry mustard Cook carrots until tender. Bring dressing ingredients to a simmer. Cool and pour over cooked carrots. Add green pepper and onion. Serve at room temperature. This can be kept up to 3 weeks.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Vegetables, Carrots.
