Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • salad oil - 2 Tbsp
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • can tomato soup - 1 item
  • onion - 1 item
  • green pepper - 1 item
  • white vinegar - 1/2 c
  • carrots, sliced fresh or frozen - 2 lb

How to make carrot salad:

Cook carrots until tender; drain. Chop onion and pepper over carrots. Mix all other ingredients. Pour over the carrots. Marinate overnight, covered. Drain and serve. May be served cold or warm.
