Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 3/4 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- chopped green pepper - 1 item
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- large onion - 1 item
- carrots, cooked and sliced should be cool, not cold - 6 c
How to make carrot relish:
Boil vinegar, sugar, tomato soup, vegetable oil, salt and pepper together. When slightly cool, pour over carrots, onion and green pepper. Refrigerate 2 to 3 days.Recipe categories: Condiments, etc., Side dish, Carrots.
