Carrot croquettes
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 4 Tbsp
- grated carrots - 3 c
- shortening - 1/4 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
How to make carrot croquettes:
Mix first five ingredients. Heat shortening in frypan until moderately hot. Drop mixture by large spoonfuls into fat. Fry slowly and turn with spatula to brown on other side. Serves 4 to 6.Recipe categories: Weeknight, Side dish, Vegetables.
