Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- Velveeta cheese - 1 lb
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- buttered bread crumbs - 1 item
- about 16 large carrots, sliced
How to make carrot casserole:
Cook sliced carrots until almost done. Drain. Melt margarine in pan and cook onion until tender. Add remaining ingredients and cook slowly until cheese melts and thickens. Add to carrots. Sprinkle 2 cups buttered bread crumbs on top. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.Recipe categories: Carrots, Main dish, Casseroles.
