Ingredients/Components
- mayonnaise - 1 c
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1/4 c
- carrots, peeled and sliced
- minced onion - 1 Tbsp
- horseradish - 1 Tbsp
- buttered bread crumbs - 2 Tbsp
How to make carrot casserole:
Cook carrots until crisp-tender. Drain, reserving 1/4 cup cooking liquid. Place carrots in a casserole. Combine mayonnaise, onion, horseradish and cooking liquid. Spread over carrots. Sprinkle with cheese and top with bread crumbs. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Carrots, Main dish, Casseroles.
