- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- water
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- chopped walnuts - 1 c
- sifted flour
- raisins - 1 c
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
- finely grated carrots - 2 c
How to make carrot cake:
Bake in large tube pan at 275° for two hours. Cool on wire rack. Turn onto serving plate. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Yields 16 servings.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Carrots.
