Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- oil
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda
- powdered sugar
- raisins - 1 c
- margarine - 1/4 c
- Preheat oven to 350°
- raw grated carrots - 3 c
How to make carrot cake:
Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan. Preheat oven to 350°. Mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Add oil, sugar and eggs; mix well. Fold in carrots and raisins. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes. Allow to cool before frosting.Frosting:1 1/2 oz. cream cheese1/4 c. margarine1 3/4 c. powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 1/2 tsp. milk Cream together the cream cheese and margarine.
