Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- nuts - 1/2 c
- shredded carrots - 3 c
- stick oleo - 1/2 item
- Icing:1 box powdered sugar
How to make carrot cake:
Icing:1 box powdered sugar1/2 stick oleo1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1/2 tsp. vanilla Sift together the flour, baking powder, sugar, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Add eggs, one at a time, carrots, oil and nuts. Beat all together. Put in greased and floured cake pan (9 x 13-inch). Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.Icing: Mix all four ingredients together and spread on cooled cake.
