  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • oil - 1/2 c
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • baking soda - 2 tsp
  • nuts - 1/2 c
  • shredded carrots - 3 c
  • stick oleo - 1/2 item
  • Icing:1 box powdered sugar

How to make carrot cake:

Icing:1 box powdered sugar1/2 stick oleo1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1/2 tsp. vanilla Sift together the flour, baking powder, sugar, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Add eggs, one at a time, carrots, oil and nuts. Beat all together. Put in greased and floured cake pan (9 x 13-inch). Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.

Icing: Mix all four ingredients together and spread on cooled cake.
