Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- granulated sugar - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 1/4 lb
- grated carrots - 3 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- chopped walnuts - 1 c
- sifted flour - 3 c
- salad oil
- xxxx sugar - 1 lb
- Add carrots
How to make carrot cake:
Blend oil and sugar. Add carrots. Add eggs, beaten in one at a time. Sift flour. Add baking soda, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Add flour mixture to carrot mixture. Add nuts and mix well. Bake at 350° for 60 to 70 minutes. Makes 3 layers or 1 tube pan.Icing:1 (8 oz.) cream cheese1 lb. xxxx sugar1/4 lb. butter Combine and beat until smooth.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Carrots.
