Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- stick butter - 1 item
- salad oil
- box powdered sugar - 1 lb
- Add oil and blend
- grated carrots, packed loosely - 3 c
How to make carrot cake:
Mix and sift dry ingredients in large bowl. Add oil and blend. Add eggs and beat well. Add grated carrots; stir and beat well. Bake in two 9-inch round cake pans at 350° for 35 minutes.Icing:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 stick butter1 lb. box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 1/2 c. chopped nuts Blend cream cheese and butter.
