Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- flour
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- oil - 1 c
- grated carrots - 3 c
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- white sugar - 2 c
- unsweetened applesauce
- nuts and raisins optional - 1 item
How to make carrot cake:
Blend sugar, oil and eggs together until creamy. Sift together flour, soda, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add to sugar mixture; beat well. Add applesauce, grated carrots, nuts and raisins if you like. Blend well and pour into Bundt pan and bake at 350° until done. Spread with powdered sugar icing when cool.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Carrots.
