Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 Tbsp
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- pkg
- pecan halves - 1 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- stick oleo - 1 item
- eggs, beaten well - 4 item
- flour all-purpose - 2 c
- cooking oil Wesson - 1/2 c
- jars Junior size baby food - 2 item
How to make carrot cake:
Filling:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 stick oleo2 tsp. vanilla1 box powdered sugar1 c. pecan halves Mix sugar, flour and cinnamon. Add beaten eggs, cooking oil and baby food. Pour into 2 cake pans that have been lined with wax paper. Bake in 325° to 350° oven until toothpick comes out clean.Filling: Soften cream cheese and oleo; add vanilla. Stir powdered sugar into cheese mixture. Beat well. Spread between cake layers and on top and sides of cake. Place pecan halves on top of cake.
