Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- eggs - 4 item
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- soda - 2 tsp
- grated carrots - 3 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- plain flour - 2 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- Wesson oil
- Icing:1 stick butter
- clear vanilla - 2 tsp
- Bake at 350° for 45 minutes
How to make carrot cake:
Icing:1 stick butter8 oz. cream cheese1 box powdered sugar2 tsp. clear vanilla1 c. chopped pecans Mix all ingredients and pour into 3 round pans. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Cool.Icing: Blend all ingredients until smooth. Spread on cooled cake. Top with chopped pecans.Tips: For more durable and moister cakes have all ingredients at room temperature.
For smoothing icing, add a small amount of milk to make creamier.
