  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • cream cheese - 8 oz
  • eggs - 4 item
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • grated carrots - 3 c
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • plain flour - 2 c
  • box powdered sugar - 1 item
  • Wesson oil
  • Icing:1 stick butter
  • clear vanilla - 2 tsp
  • Bake at 350° for 45 minutes

How to make carrot cake:

Icing:1 stick butter8 oz. cream cheese1 box powdered sugar2 tsp. clear vanilla1 c. chopped pecans Mix all ingredients and pour into 3 round pans. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Cool.

Icing: Blend all ingredients until smooth. Spread on cooled cake. Top with chopped pecans.Tips: For more durable and moister cakes have all ingredients at room temperature.

For smoothing icing, add a small amount of milk to make creamier.
