  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • eggs - 4 item
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • vanilla flavoring - 2 tsp
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • grated carrots - 3 c
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • box powdered sugar - 1 item
  • flour plain - 2 c
  • Wesson oil - 1 c
  • Add oil and stir well

How to make carrot cake:

Sift dry ingredients together. Add oil and stir well. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat after each one. Add carrots and mix well. Pour batter into three 8-inch cake pans. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.Icing:8 oz. pkg. cream cheese2 tsp. vanilla flavoring1 stick butter1 box powdered sugar1 c. chopped pecans Cream the cream cheese and butter. Add sugar, vanilla and nuts. Mix well. Spread on cake layers.
