Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
- oil
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- grated carrots - 3 c
- nuts - 1 c
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- box powdered sugar
How to make carrot cake:
Icing:1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar8 oz. cream cheese1 c. nuts1 stick margarine1 tsp. vanilla Cake: Mix first 4 ingredients. Sift flour, soda and cinnamon. Add to mixture. Add vanilla. Mix at medium speed for 5 minutes. Pour into three 8-inch pans that have been greased and floured. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Icing: Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, nuts, margarine and vanilla. Spread on cooled layers.
