  • baking powder - 3 tsp
  • flour, sifted - 3 c
  • Crisco oil - 1 c
  • carrots, finely grated - 2 c
  • small can pineapple with juice - 1 item
  • Measure and blend dry ingredients together

How to make carrot cake:

Cream sugar and oil; beat in eggs. Measure and blend dry ingredients together. Add to sugar, oil and eggs. Fold in pineapple with juice, vanilla, carrots and nuts. Bake in 3 (9-inch) pans at 350° until done when tested with toothpick.Frosting:1 l
