Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- oil
- soda
- grated carrots - 2 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- stick butter - 1 item
- large can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 item
- flour all-purpose - 2 c
- Mix oil, sugar and eggs
How to make carrot cake:
Sift all dry ingredients. Mix oil, sugar and eggs. Beat after each addition. Add dry ingredients to oil mixture and mix well. Add carrots, pineapple and nuts. Bake at 350° in three 9-inch pans for 35 to 40 minutes.Frosting:1 box powdered sugar, sifted1 stick butter1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 tsp. vanilla Mix thoroughly and spread on cool cake.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Carrots.
