Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- coconut - 1 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- chopped walnuts - 1 c
- stick butter or oleo - 1/2 item
- finely chopped carrots - 2 c
- Add dry ingredients
- well-drained, crushed pineapple - 1 c
How to make carrot cake:
Beat sugar, oil and eggs until well mixed. Add dry ingredients. Bake in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 1 hour or until done.Cream Cheese Frosting:4 oz. cream cheese, softened1/2 box powdered sugar (2 c.)1/2 stick butter or oleo1 tsp. vanilla Mix cream cheese and butter.
