  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • cream cheese - 8 oz
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • stick margarine - 1/2 item
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • grated carrots - 3 c
  • nuts optional - 1/4 c
  • nuts, chopped - 1/2 c
  • Wesson oil
  • orange juice or pineapple juice - 1 item
  • Add raw grated carrots and nuts

How to make carrot cake:

Sift flour, soda, salt and cinnamon and mix with Wesson oil, sugar and eggs. Add raw grated carrots and nuts. Bake in layers from 30 to 40 minutes in 300° oven.Icing:1 lb. powdered sugar1/2 stick margarine8 oz. cream cheese1 tsp. vanilla orange juice or pineapple juice1/4 c. nuts (optional) Mix together and spread between layers and on top of cake.
