Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- grated carrots - 3 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- stick butter or oleo - 1 item
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- corn oil
How to make carrot cake:
Frosting:1 c. chopped pecans1 box powdered sugar1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 stick butter or oleo1 tsp. vanilla Cake: Mix all dry ingredients together. Add oil, eggs and vanilla; blend well. Bake in 3 (9-inch) pans at 350° for 30 minutes or until done or you can bake in one oblong pan.Frosting: Cream cheese and oleo. Add sugar, vanilla and pecans well. Add milk, if necessary, to spreading consistency.
