Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- confectioners sugar - 1 lb
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- grated carrot - 3 c
- stick oleo - 1 item
- Wesson oil
- In a separate bowl, sift together next five ingredients, then add to carrot mixture
How to make carrot cake:
Mix together first three ingredients. In a separate bowl, sift together next five ingredients, then add to carrot mixture. Add four eggs one at a time. Pour into 2 greased cake pans and bake for 35 minutes at 350°.Icing:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 stick oleo1 lb. confectioners sugar1 tsp. vanilla Combine cream cheese, oleo and sugar; add vanilla.
