Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- grated carrots - 3 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- vegetable oil
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- stick butter or margarine - 1 item
- Add one egg at a time, beating after each
How to make carrot cake:
Mix oil and sugar. Add one egg at a time, beating after each. Add dry ingredients, then fold in carrots and nuts. Bake for 1 hour at 350°. Cool completely before frosting.Frosting:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 stick butter or margarine2 c. powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla Cream together softened cream cheese and butter. Add vanilla.
