- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- coconut - 2 c
- grated carrots - 2 c
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
- walnuts - 1 c
- Wesson oil
- eggs, beaten well - 3 item
- crushed pineapple undrained - 1 c
- Frosting:1 stick butter
How to make carrot cake:
Frosting:1 stick butter1 box confectioners sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened1 c. chopped nuts Mix together cake ingredients and pour into 9 x 15-inch or 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes. Cool.Frosting: Mix together butter, confectioners sugar, vanilla and cream cheese. Spread over cooled cake. Sprinkle on nuts.
