Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- grated carrots - 3 c
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- flour all-purpose - 2 c
- oil Wesson or Crisco - 1 c
How to make carrot cake:
Cream together oil and sugar. Add eggs (one at a time). Sift together and add flour, soda, salt and cinnamon. Last, add carrots. Bake at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes. Makes a large cake or 2 (9-inch) layers.This cake rises but will fall some while it cools. Tastes great. Use your favorite cream cheese icing.
