Caramel puff corn
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- butter - 1 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- white Karo syrup - 1/2 c
- bags puff corn - 2 item
How to make caramel puff corn:
Combine all ingredients except puff corn. Bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes. Add 1/2 teaspoon soda. Mix well with spoon until foamy. Spray a large paper bag with Pam. Pour in one bag Puff corn, then 1/2 caramel mixture. Mix with spoon to coat corn. Dump in second bag and rest of caramel mixture. Mix with spoon. Microwave bag 1 1/2 minutes on High. Shake bag. Microwave another 1 1/2 minutes. Shake bag. Microwave another 1 1/2 minutes. Shake bag. Microwave 1 more minute. Shake bag and pour into large bowl.
