Ingredients/Components

  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • butter or margarine - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • brown sugar - 2 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • corn syrup - 1/2 c

How to make caramel popcorn:

Boil first 3 ingredients, then add next 3 ingredients. Pour over popped popcorn. Pile on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 250° for 1 hour. Stir often. Yields 6 to 8 quarts. Put in decorator canister for a great gift idea.
