Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- butter or margarine - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- corn syrup - 1/2 c
How to make caramel popcorn:
Boil first 3 ingredients, then add next 3 ingredients. Pour over popped popcorn. Pile on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 250° for 1 hour. Stir often. Yields 6 to 8 quarts. Put in decorator canister for a great gift idea.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Grains.
