Caramel popcorn
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- margarine - 1/2 c
- white corn syrup - 1/4 c
- popcorn - 4 qt
How to make caramel popcorn:
Combine margarine, sugar, corn syrup and salt in a microwavable bowl. Cook on High in the microwave until it boils or about 4 minutes. Stir three times and add baking soda and vanilla. Place popcorn in a grocery sack and pour ingredients of bowl into the sack. Stir with a wooden spoon. Cook 1 1/2 minutes on High in the microwave. Add peanuts (optional).
