Caramel popcorn
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- white Karo - 1/2 c
- peanuts optional - 1 2
- sorghum - 3 Tbsp
- popcorn - 5 6
How to make caramel popcorn:
Mix sugar, butter, Karo and sorghum. Bring to boil. Boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add vanilla, salt and baking soda. Stir until thick and foamy. Pour over popcorn. Mix well. Place in 250° oven for 40 minutes. Stir every 10 minutes. Spread on lightly greased cookie sheet. Let cool. Enjoy!Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Grains.
