Caramel popcorn
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 2 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- popped corn - 7 qt
- white syrup - 1/2 c
- sticks oleo - 2 item
How to make caramel popcorn:
Cook sugar, oleo and syrup to a boil and boil 5 minutes. Remove from stove and add soda. Mix well. Pour over popped corn. Pour into long cake pan and bake at 250° for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes. Can add peanuts if wanted. Separate when cool. Store in plastic bags.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Grains.
