Caramel popcorn
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- packed brown sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- margarine - 1/2 c
- popped corn - 4 qt
- light Karo syrup - 1/3 c
- mixed nuts - 3 c
How to make caramel popcorn:
In large, oiled, shallow pan, mix popcorn and nuts. Mix other ingredients in saucepan, stirring, and bring to a boil. Boil 5 minutes. Pour over corn mixture. Stir well. Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Stir while cooling. Cover tightly to store. Enjoy.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Grains.
