Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • milk - 2 Tbsp
  • vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • unbaked 9-inch pastry shell - 1 item
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • all-purpose flour - 1 Tbsp
  • firmly packed brown sugar - 1 c
  • white syrup - 1/2 item
  • margarine, melted - 1/2 item
  • coarsely chopped pecans - 1 c

How to make caramel pecan pie:

Combine sugar and flour, mixing well. Add butter, eggs, milk and vanilla. Mix until well blended. Pour mixture into pastry shell; sprinkle with pecans. Bake at 325° for 50 minutes or until set. Yield: one 9-inch pie.
