Caramel pecan bars
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- coconut - 1 c
- oatmeal - 1 c
- pecans, broken - 1 c
- Filling:2 eggs
- baking soda, dissolved in 1 tsp - 1/4 tsp
How to make caramel pecan bars:
Filling:2 eggs1 c. brown sugar2 Tbsp. flour1 c. pecans, broken1 c. coconut1 tsp. vanilla Mix crust ingredients as you would for a pie crust. Pat into a 12 x 12 x 2-inch pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350°. Then pour on filling.Beat eggs until light. Add remaining filling ingredients. Mix well. Pour onto crust. Bake 20 minutes more at 375°.
May also use a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
